Fungi and flora sculpture assembled with pottery fragments found on the shores of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and a local bottle dump in northern New Jersey. This piece features a variety of special finds ranging in age from the late 1700s to early 1900s. Fragments include ironstone transferware, brown and gold speckled Rockinghamware, a stoneware handle, and a partial clay pipe bowl. A vintage aurora borealis brooch from the 1950s-60s and glass and shell beads wired into delicate flora have been added for some drama. All pieces have been thoughtfully arranged, soldered together, and finished with a black patina. This sculpture can be displayed on a flat surface or wall mounted and is completely one of a kind!
