Fungi and flora sculpture assembled with pottery fragments found on the shores of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and a local bottle dump in northern New Jersey. This piece features a variety of special finds ranging in age from the late 1600s to early 1900s. Fragments include a ribbed yellow ware bowl rim, partial ironstone saucer, salt glazed penny ink scraps, stoneware handle fragments, colorful floral stoneware, a deep emerald green majolica jug lip with handle, and a scrap of melty green bonfire glass. All pieces have been thoughtfully arranged, soldered together, and finished with a black patina. This sculpture can be displayed on a flat surface or wall mounted and is completely one of a kind!
